The Disciplinary Committee of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) has deducted 10 points from TMT Football Academy for branding GFF officials as “hustlers masquerading as football authorities.”
TMT launch a scathing attack on the personality of the GFF personnel on their Facebook page following their 1-0 defeat against BST Galaxy FC.
“Hustlers masquerading as football authorities in The Gambia are making it hard for individuals to invest money into the beautiful sport that we all love.” TMT wrote after their 1-0 defeat.
The GFF seriously takes offense to TMT’s allegations, and the football authorities blast TMT with a 10 points deduction that has blown away TMT’s qualification to the pinnacle of the Gambian league.
“the Committee has decided to slam TMT Football Club with a 10 points deduction in line with Article 20 of the Disciplinary Code of the GFF. The points deduction will take immediate effect. Furthermore, TMT is also requested to offer an unreservedly public apology through the same communication channel within seven days, failure of which will lead to an automatic punishment of a D20,000.00 fine,” GFF wrote.
TMT has secured promotion to the Gambia Football Federation Division One, but the 10 points deduction means they can no longer make it to the Gambian Premier League.
