A man identified as a native of Touba Bureh in the Wuli West district of the Upper River Region, Lasana Bah, was reportedly found dead in a bush in the Foni district of the West Coast Region over a suspected bull transaction.

An audio making rounds on social media reported that Lasana Bah, popularly known as “Chamoi Bah,” was involved in an exchange transaction of some small ruminant animals to a bull. A day later, the bull went missing, and he went looking for it but never returned home.

According to the audio, speaking in the Mandinka language, Lasana was later found dead in very horrible circumstances. He was reportedly found tied against a tree in the bush. However, it is still not established whether he was murdered or not, but Lasana was found with cutlass stabs on some parts of his body.

Meanwhile, it is suspected that Lasana’s death is related to his missing bull, or he must have gone into an altercation with some individuals who overcame him and left him lifeless.
