Adama Bojang hits Hattrick as Jawo, Susso, Badamoesi, and Ebrima Darboe also scores

Adama Bojang recorded his third hattrick, as Gambian strikers Lamin Jawo, Muhammed Badamosei, Momodou Bojang and Susso Bamba found the back of the net. In England, Yankuba Minteh, Alasana Jatta, and Ebou Adams suffered defeat over the weekend, while Ebrima Darboe scored his second league goal with Hamza Barry producing a man of the match performance for Vejle.

England
Danny Welbeck became the Seagulls record Premier League goal scorer with 31 goals; however, Palace completed their first double over Albion since 1933. Brighton found the equalizer in the 31st minute after Jean-Phillipe Mateta gave Palace an early lead. Matt O’Riley fed Yankuba Minteh on the right, and Welbeck delayed his run before bursting past Munoz to steer a left-foot shot into the bottom corner from Minteh’s fine cross. Minteh, who registered his 4th assist, lasted for 71 minutes before being replaced by March.

Ji-sung Eom’s strike broke the deadlock and gave Swansea the lead in the 78th minute as Derby County was consigned to their first loss in five games. Mendez-Laing replaced Ebou Adams in the 83rd minute.

In League Two, Notts County dropped to sixth position following their 1-0 away defeat against Colchester. Alassana Jatta partnered David McGoldrick at the top of an attack-minded lineup in Essex. Tyreece Simpson scored the only goal of the game two minutes before halftime.

France
Stubborn bottom placed Caen held Metz to a 2-2 draw, a result that saw the Grenats drop to third position in the Ligue 2 standings. Metz took the lead twice, but every time they were in front, they ended up being pegged back by stubborn SM Caen. Ablie Jallow played and lasted for 83 minutes.

Abubacarr Kanteh scored his fifth league goal in Ajaccio’s 2-1 home win against Amiens on matchday 29 of Ligue 2.

Italy
Frosinone rose to 12th position following their 2-2 draw against Cosenza. Ebrima scored the equalizer in the 28th minute with a well-taken strike inside the 18 yards. Darboe went on to provide two goals scoring opportunities, but all went off target.
Sheikh Sibi and Virtus Verona came from behind to beat Pergolettese 2-1. Sibi conceded from a direct free kick. Three minutes later the host almost doubled their lead, but Sibi made a brilliant save. After the break, the host pulled one back in the 46th and went on to seal the winner in the 86th minute from the spot. Saturday’s victory has taken Virtus Verona to eighth in the table with 51 points.

Switzerland
Adama Bojang scored a hattrick to take his tally to six goals of the campaign. He gave Grasshopper the lead in the 14th minute. The loan striker from Stade de Reims doubled the lead five minutes after the restart and went on to complete his hattrick in the 72nd minute.

Sweden
Gibril Sosseh made his Superettan debut in their home win against GIF Sundsvall. Sosseh replaced Camil Jebara in the 79th minute at a full-packed Guldfågeln Arena.

 

Yusupha Sanyang registered an assist for his side Östers IF as they secured their first win in the Swedish top flight since 2013 with a 2-0 victory over BK Häcken on Saturday. It is his second game and his second assist so far.

Denmark
Vejle played a 1-1 draw against Aalborg. Hamza Barry assisted Emmanouilidis just before halftime. The assist was the Gambian international’s second assist of the season. Juwara replaced Barry in the 87th minute as they searched for the equalizer. Hamza Barry was named Man of the Match.

 

Estonia
Ebrima Jarju kept his third clean sheet as Paide registered their fourth win of the season. Muhammed Susso maintained his place in the starting XI while Pa Assan Corr came off the bench for the third consecutive time.

Finland
Super sub Momodou Bojang sealed the win for SJK in the Veikkausliiga premier on Saturday. Bojang was introduced in the 66th minute and just needed six minutes to change the fortune of the visitors and ended up causing heartbreak for the Kotka-based club. Vargas put in a through pass; Bojang beat the goalkeeper and scored from close range.

Mads Borchers hat trick handed Premier defeat to Musa Jatta and Oulu, following a 4-3 loss. Musa Jatta was named in the starting XI and made way as he was booked. The visitors, however, lost.

Slovenia
Susso Bamba scored his eighth league goal of the campaign when he doubled NK Aluminij’s lead in the 35th minute. Susso collected a failed pass from the defender and beat the goalkeeper with a low drive.

Czech Republic
Lamin Jawo ended a run of four games without a goal as he scored the lone goal against Teplice. Jawo currently has five goals as Jablonec moves to fifth place.

Saudi Arabia
Muhammed Badamoesi scored back-to-back goals to take his tally to three goals in eight matches. Badamoesi extended Abha’s lead in the 49th minute with a header as Abha beat Al Adalah 3-1.
