Adams inspires Rams to victory, Ablie Jallow returns with a stunning goal as Colley and Ali Sowe find the back of the net

Gambian foreign-based players produced another magnificent performance over the weekend; Ali Sowe’s goal scoring form continues as he reached 14 league goals. Ebrima Colley gave Young Boys the lead against Lausanne while Captain Ebou Adams scored his fifth league goal.

England

Brighton & Hove Albion registered their first win in ten attempts against Fulham thanks to goals from Van Hecke & Joao Pedro. Yankuba Minteh was making his 23rd Premier League appearance and went on to put in a solid performance. Saturday’s 2-1 home victory against Fulham was Albion’s sixth successive win in all competitions—enough to lift them up to sixth in the table.

John Eustace kickstarts his tenure with a 2-1 home victory against Blackburn. First-half goals from Craig Forsyth and Ebou Adams saw the Rams holding on to secure maximum points at the Pride Park Stadium.

Captain Ebou Adams doubled the Rams lead in the seventh minute as he got the better of a scramble in front of goal. Derby and Ebou Adams will now face Coventry City at the Pride Park stadium on Tuesday.

France

Ablie Jallow was handed his 22nd appearance of the season in Ligue 2, and his first start since January 18th. Jallow went on to play 84 minutes. Ablie Jallow’s set piece, a corner in the 29th, was connected by Deminguet. Ablie Jallow went on to score a stunner in the 64th minute after beating two defenders to send the ball in the top corner.

Super substitutes Asoro and Bokele went on to score the fourth and fifth goals for Metz.

Italy

Como and Venezia played a 1-1 draw. The Lariani took the lead via Ikone, and the visitors scored the leveller in the 90+5 minutes courtesy of Gytkjaer. Alieu Fadera was introduced late in the game, coming on in the 86th minute.

Ebrima Darboe was unplayable in Frosinone 1-0 against Carrarese. Darboe provided three assists, but none was converted as chances were missed. The goal came in the 70th from a corner, which Darboe headed back in the penalty box, and Cichella got the better of it to smash it in front of the travelling fans.

Virtus Verona are unbeaten in their last seven matches and had only one draw in the process. The 2-1 away victory against Union Clodiense sent them to fourth in the standings. Shiekh was beaten in the 83rd minute when the host scored from the spot but went on to make a crucial save in the 93rd minute to return home with all three points. Sibi assisted Michael De Marchi for the second goal in the 26th minute.

Turkey

Ali Sowe opened the scores in the 58th minute with a well-placed finish. Argentinian Adolfo Gaich got the better of him as he went on to score a brace to secure all three points for Antalyaspor. Ali has now scored in seven consecutive matches to take his tally to 14 goals in the Turkish Super Lig.

Switzerland

 

Ebrima Colley put in a commendable performance in Young Boys 3-0 home win against Lausanne-Sport. The victory has taken the defending champions to fourth position, trailing by eight points at the top. Colley was once again handed a start and didn’t disappoint as he broke the deadlock in the 45th minute. He went on to be involved in the offensive, creating lots of scoring opportunities and having two shots on target.

Czech Republic

Ebrima Singhateh was the hero and the villain at the same time. The former Paide scored his first goal for MFK Karviná following a scramble. He was later sent off in the 26th, but the visitors managed to secure a point along the road.

Senegal

Abdoulie Bah was on target for CasaSports in their 2-0 win over ASC HLM. Bah doubled the lead from the spot in the 79th minute.

Former Gambia U20 goalkeeper Pa Ebou Dampha kept a clean sheet in their 3-0 win over Jamano Fatick. AJEL de Rufisque hasn’t conceded a goal in their last three league matches.
