Brace for Ali Sowe and Ousman Ceesay as both Minteh and Saikou Touray complete 90 minutes

Albion suffered their heaviest Premier League defeat on an afternoon to forget at the City Ground. Minteh nearly surprised Sels at the near post after an intriguing run, but Williams blocked his effort. Minteh completed the most dribbles in the match against Nottingham Forest despite the defeat.

Italy
Lorenzo De Silvestri and Giovanni Fabbian’s goals have taken Bologna close to the top four in Serie A following their 2-0 victory over 10-man Como. In the 38 minutes, Alieu Fadera was shown a red card. Alieu Fadera felt he had been fouled and screamed insults at the referee. He continued to be so obvious in his protests as he received the red card, leaving Como down to 10 men.

Sheikh Sibi clinched back-to-back clean sheets following Virtus Verona’s 1-0 victory over Padova in the Serie C. Dino Mehic gave the host the lead in the 22nd minute of the game. The host fought back but failed to break the deadlock, with Sibi making two crucial saves in the 44th and 67th minute. The victory has moved the Verona team to 11th in the league standings with 33 points.

France
Grenoble Foot has won all their last three matches at the Stade des Alpes. Saikou Touray played the entire match in their 2-1 win over Rodez.

 

Turkey
Ali Sowe scored a brace but it was not enough as his team Rizesport lost 3-2 to Fenerbahce. Sowe’s double, which he completed in the first 13 minutes has now taken his tally in the league to 9 goals. In his career, he has just tasted one victory over Feberbahce which was in a cup game.

Two red cards to Ibrahim Olawoyin and Ghezzal brought life for the visitor’s as they snatched the win in the 89th minute via Youssef EN-Nesyri.

Austria
Following Austria Wien’s 2-0 win over Sturm Graz, it has set the tone ahead of the Friday league match between the two sides. They are currently separated by three points. Abubacarr Barry played 69 minutes in the OFBB cup win against Sturm on Saturday.

Finland
Musa Jatta was on target in AC Oulu’s 2-1 cup defeat in the Finnish League Cup against Ilves Tampere on Saturday. The consolation goal came in the 81st minute. The Oulu-based team will be back in action when they travel to meet VPS for match day three of the League Cup.

Latvian champions played another friendly, with Alfusainey Jatta keeping his position; new signing Modou Saidy was named in the starting XI, which they eventually won against Lithuania’s Gargždų Banga.

Ousman Ceesay of Nomme Utd was on target in their 2-1 win over VJK. VJK took the lead in the 25th minute but Ceesay responded in the 55th and 60th minutes, first collecting the ball from the goalkeeper to level the tie. The winning goal came from a cross from the left which Ceesay slid into the net for the winner.

Philippines
Manila Diggers moved to second place with a four-point difference. This came following their 9-1 win against PFF Development clClub. Ikouba scored six goals taking his tally to 13. Modou Manneh scored a brace while Pa Ousman Gai grabbed a piece.
