The Centre Back of the Gambia Women’s National Team Ruggy Joof has left the country for the Liberian capital to sign a season-long loan deal with Determine Girls Football Club in Liberia.
The solid center-back has several caps for The Gambia Senior National Women’s Team and plied her trade with The Gambia Armed Forces team in The Gambia.
“We are delighted to announce that we have reached an agreement with The Gambian Armed Forces FC (GAF) over the transfer of Gambian national team central defender Ruggy Joof on a season loan deal,” announced Determine Girls Football Club.
“We can confirm that the Gambian International will arrive in Liberia on Monday June 27,” Determine Girls FC wrote on their various social media handles.
Ruggy who played for the Soldiers in The Gambia is expected to sign a one-year loan deal upon her arrival in Liberia.
