Musa Barrow and Gibril Sillah were on target in the preseason as Musa Juwara and Alagie Saine were handed a season-premier debut.
Italy
Musa Barrow gave Bologna the lead in Rovereto as Bologna and Palermo canceled each other in a 2-2 draw.
Barrow scored within five minutes of action following a counterattack before putting the ball past the goalkeeper.
Bulgaria
Sainey Sanyang maintained his spot in the CSKA-Sofia lineup as they recorded a home win over Krumovgrad on match day two of the Parva Liga.
Noah Sonko was left on the bench in Levski Sofia’s 3-1 win over CSKA 1948 Sofia. Ludogorets are still chasing the signature of the former Östersund defender.
Croatia
Baboucarr Faal scored twice in the 4th and 87th minutes as HNK Orient beat Adriatic 6-2 in a club-friendly match on Sunday.
Czech Republic
Lamin Jawo, who scored in all preseason matches, continued his scoring spree when he scored the third goal of the afternoon in the 57th minute. Jawo assisted twice before scoring against his former side Jablonec in the Czech Republic Fortuna Liga.

Denmark
Musa Juwara (Vejle) and Alagie Saine were handed their debuts on Sunday. Musa Juwara’s debut at Ceres Park lasted 65 minutes, and Gambian prospect Mouhamadou Drammeh later replaced him. Juwara was close to giving Vejle the lead, but the host keeper had an incredible afternoon. Hamza Barry was an unused substitute.
Odense BK and Randers canceled each other as their game ended 2-2 in the season premiere of the 3F Superligaen. Buya Touray thought he had given the host all three points until a late equalizer from Hugo Andersson shared the spoils. Alasana Manneh lasted for 86 minutes
Elsewhere Joakim Persson debuted Alagie Saine as the former Gambia U20 captain and repaid the gaffer’s trust in him. Saine found Jakob Ankersen at the back post, and he attempted a hard finish, but the goalkeeper made a good save. The host, Kolding, came from behind to beat Ac Horsens 2-1 in 1. Division Premier.
Estonia
Paide Linnameeskond recorded a 4-0 victory against FC Kuressaare, meaning that Gambian international goalkeeper Ebrima Jarju has kept his eighth clean sheet of the season. Paide is five points adrift of European place.
Babou Cham wasn’t involved in Sunday’s encounter but helped the U21 team with a goal in the 78th minute to seal the winner against Legion FC. Babou is enjoying a run of 3 goals in 9 matches for Paide’s U21 team.
Tanzania
Tanzanian giants Azam FC continued their preseason tour in Tunisia. Their third preseason match yielded a 2-1 victory over US Monastir. Gibril Sillah opened the scoring when he connected a Fei Toto’s cross from close range. Gibril, the former Tengueth Winger player, has featured in Azam’s three test matches.
Portugal
Moreirense lost 3-4 on penalties against Farense following a 1-1 draw scoreline in the Taça da Liga. Gambian duo Ebrima Ndow and Matar Manga were named in the matchday squad. The latter replaced Kodisang in the 88th minute.
Switzerland
Young Boyz edged FC Lausanne-Sport 2-1 at the Stadion Wankdorf courtesy of Itten’s 97th-minute penalty. Saidy Janko, who returned home, played 87 minutes.
