The Gambia Radio and Television Service (GRTS) Aminata E.Sanyang, has emerged as the winner of INMA awards under the Newsroom Category.
The International Awards is pioneered by the International News Media Association. The awards recognize rising stars in the global news media industry.
“I’m utterly thrilled to have scooped this prestigious award; competing globally gives me the creeps, but my work has indicated to me once again that passion and hard work can get you any win,” Aminata told TAT.

After months spent by judges scouting for the best global young newsroom professionals, Aminata effortlessly made it to the Winners list.
“I dedicate this award to all Gambian women journalists, striving, winning, and dismounting challenges,” Sanyang said.
The award announced via global broadcast, saw Aminata’s fans and friends erupt in celebrating her win.
