Gambian Women’s panel to officiate FIFA women’s U-17 qualifiers in Egypt

A panel of Gambian women referees arrived in the Egyptian capital Cairo on Friday evening to officiate a crucial FIFA U-17 qualifiers between the host Egypt and one of the powerhouses of women’s football Africa Nigeria at the Estadio international de El Cairo in Egypt.

Central referee Isatou Touray will lead the panel as the central referee assisted by Jainaba Manneh and Abie Kujabie while Fatou Ngum will serve as the 4th official on the touchline throughout the game.

The 2022 FIFA U-17 women’s world cup is the 7th edition of the youth championship contested by U-17 national teams of member FIFA associations since its inception in 2008. The tournament will be hosted by India later this year.
