Omid Wisdom’s tribute to his compatriot, a Sampdoria player from the Gambia in Omar Colley, is receiving massive acclaim in Italy.
The song and music video are featured on major Italian news and sports platforms. Sampnews24, Genova Today, Il Secolo XIX, One Football, Rassegna Stampa News, and Football News 24 are among some of the Italian media currently talking about the song and the two Gambian superstars.
In addition, Omid Wisdom is reported to be shared with his fans that there has been a significant increase in viewers from Italy on his YouTube channel.

The song, released several months ago, is presented on Youtube as a “tribute to all Gambians and their determination and professionalism,” characteristics that the artist recognizes in the Sampdoria footballer and “fundamental ingredients for national and personal development.”
