The Gambia Police Force has confirmed the arrest of a suspect involved in killing two minors in Kiang Jiffarong, in the Lower River Region of the Gambia, on Sunday, January 29, 2023.
The news of the alleged killings of the two underages emerged on Sunday morning.
The Police say the two minors — a male and a female, are all under the age of 6, and the alleged killer is a suspected “lunatic” who did acts in two different compounds in Kiang Jiffarong.
“The suspected adult lunatic, who ran away into the bush after the alleged incident, is apprehended and currently helping the Police with further investigation,” the Police release said.
The Police added that their team of investigators has been on the ground to acquire more information about the scenes.
