The Whites have unveiled former Djurgården Winger Aziz Corr. Aziz until his signing was a player-coach of Stockholm-based club Banjul FC. The 37-year-old was delighted with the deal as he hopes to excel.
“I am a real De Banjul fan every, even before playing for Gambia Ports Authority, I used to train with Real De Banjul. Before hanging my boots I want to be part of this beautiful club and wear its jersey.” Corr stated.
The Gambia has joined Ghana in seeing that their experienced players are coming back to the domestic league to play their quota.
With Sulley Muntari, Samuel Inkoom, and Asamoah Gyan all returning to Ghana Premier League.
Real is looking for its first title since 2014 and the former Djurgården Winger admits the title race is tight.
“The margin of the points isn’t much between the top three. It will be interesting in the second round. Wallidan and Fortune FC have made a few signings. We hope for the best, at the end of the season we want to be champions,” He added
