Singhateh inspires Gambians in Europe

Gambian international Ebrima Singhateh scored 19 goals this season in the second half and handed the visitors a leveler in the 81st minute before assisting Piht to win the 89th minute.

Paide Linnameeskond registered their first win in Europe after coming from behind to beat Dinamo Tbilisi 3-2.

Gambian international Ebrima Singhateh scored 19 goals this season in the second half and handed the visitors a leveler in the 81st minute before assisting Piht to win the 89th minute.

“I was thrilled, and the team was happy. It’s my first game, first experience, and first goal; I am grateful”. Singhateh stated after the game.

Elsewhere, Dac 1904 came from behind to beat Cliftonville 2-1; Gambian international Sainey Njie was an unused substitute.

Babou Cham and his club Ararat from Armenia lost 2-0 in Macedonia as the former Real de Banjul forward played 60 minutes.

Dembo Darboe and Shakhtyor Soligorsk secured a goalless draw against Maribor in the Champions League first-round qualifier.

Riga Futbol Skola also fell in Helsinki after losing 1-0. Alfusainey Jatta was an unused substitute.
