Sosseh, Jawo, and Sowe on target as Modou Keita scores thrice

It was a fantastic weekend for the Gambian players who ply their trade abroad as they continue to make waves in their various leagues.
Modou Keita was in his elements scoring a sensational hat trick in Poland while Sosseh, Jawo, and Sowe all netted goals in their respective leagues.

England
Derby county, who had just one win in their first seven matches, have now secured five victories in a row following their 2-1 away victory against Blackburn on Saturday. Ebou Adams replaced David Ozoh in the 10th minute.
Italy
Alieu Fadera was handed his second start in Serie A, which was his 10th overall appearance so far this season as Sassuolo beat Atalanta in Bergamo with 3-0.  La Dea is without a win in seven Serie A games as goals from Berardi brace and Pinamonti sent Ivan Juric side to 13 positions with 13 points.
Germany
Blessin side were handed their seventh straight defeat in the Bundesliga following their away defeat against Freiburg. Attacking changes was made by St Pauli as Ceesay replaced Mets with eight minutes plus stoppage time to go. However, the visitors failed to find the equalizer.
 Turkey
Ali Sowe finally opened his account in the Superliga after going eight games in the league without scoring. Sowe scored the equalizer as the game ended 2-2. Rodriquez was the hero as he scored an own goal and made it up in the 74th minute with an equalizer for Gaziantep with a well taken screamer to beat YAYA Fofana. The keeper had kept the visitors on the safer side with five saves.
Czech Republic
Both Lamin Jawo and Youssoupha Sanyang were on target over the weekend in the Chance Liga. A 5-3 victory for Slavia Prague has sent them on top of the table with two points lead while LAMIN Jawo’s Jablonec dropped to third position with 31 points.
Lamin Jawo scored the only goal in the 25th minute, when he jumped higher than the Banik defenders to nod home his sixth goal in 14 league matches.
Youssoupha Sanyang, on the other end, was making his fourth straight start. After his impressive outing against Arsenal, the former ÖSTER player grabbed his first Slavia Prague goal by opening the scoring in the 27th minute. Captain Provod won the ball in the third half and put Youssoupha through. The left winger gave a small push of the ball with his left foot before putting it in the bottom corner. Sanyang went on to play 64 minutes.
DENMARK
Odense secured their fourth draw of the campaign on Friday after coming from behind to get a home draw against Silkeborg. James Gomez and Yaya Bojang started in the back three with the young defender handed a starting berth in Stripes’ last eight games. Bojang registered one block and one shot on target.
 After three defeats on a row, AC Horsens returned to winning ways following their 3-1 away victory against Kolding IF.  Alagie Saine played 74 minutes as a right midfielder in a 3-4-3 system. Saine has started AC Horsens’ last seven matches in arow.
Sweden
Mjällby and Abdoulie Manneh closed their campaign with a 1-0-win courtesy of substitute Eric Alexander’s goal in the 81st minute. Mjällby, Allsvenska champions set a record of 75 points after 30 matches. Abdoulie Manneh played 64 minutes, and the Gambian internation is linked with a move to England.
Gibril Sosseh was on the scoresheet in Kalmar’s 2–1 defeat to Falkenberg FF in the final match of the Superettan season.

The midfielder netted the equalizer in the 31st minute, connecting well with a precise cross from Jebara on the right flank. Although visiting goalkeeper Lillienberg managed to block Sosseh’s first attempt, the Gambian midfielder made no mistake on the rebound to register his third league goal at the Guldfågeln Arena.

Hammarby TFF secured a 2-1 victory, which was enough to book their ticket for the superettan playoff. Hammarby and Swaibou Kebbeh will now face Örebro at the end of the month.
ESTONIA
For the first time in four years, Paide finished outside the top three and thus missed the European spot.  A few of the positives from the game were Bubacarr Trawally grabbing his second assist when he kept the ball in play, laying it on for Henri Anier after a play. Trawally played nine games in the premium liiga, scoring thrice , PA Abdou Cham, whose loan deal ended following the final whistle managed 11 games in the league and scoring twice
Armenia
Kajally Drammeh came off the bench to steal the show with a goal and an assist to help his side Alashkert beat BKMA Yerevan 2-0 in the Armenian Premier League on Saturday.
Kajally has registered three goal contributions in the last three games for the club (1 goal + 2 assists), playing 604 minutes in 12 appearances with at least 50 minutes per game.
Poland 
Modou Keita, who recently been promoted to Miedz Legnica A team, scored a hattrick for the B team in their 5-5 draw with Zaglebie Lubin.
Keita led the comeback by pulling one before scoring two more goals

The Stockholm-based Journalist is a media officer, football Scout, PR, Influencer and Digital creator. I started my journalism career as a football analyst in 2012 with Vibes FM and went on to work with CityLimit, West Coast, Hot FM, Freedom Radio, Eye Africa and Afri Radio as a content producer and presenter.
