Sowe hits brace, Adams, Lie Kah, and Abubacarr on target

Ali Sowe scored a brace for Rizespor, while Adams’ strike in the ninth minute was cancelled by Bannan in the championship. Lie Kah was on target again but the goal served only as a consolation in their 2-1 home defeat against Oslo FA. Yankuba Minteh returned to action in the Premier League for the first time since October 6th. Minteh replaced Rutter in the 88th as the Saints held Brighton to a 1-1 draw, which was the Seagulls fifth draw of the season.

Elsewhere, Sheffield Wednesday scored twice in the second half, with the winner coming in the added minutes of the game. Ebou Adams gave the Rams an early lead when he guided the ball into the net from inside the box to complete a well-worked passage of play in the ninth minute. Goals from Bannan and Jamal Lowe’s last-minute heartache handed the Rams back-to-back home defeats.

Italy

The Lombardy Derby ended 1-1 between Como and Monza. Alieu Fadera curled inches wide from the edge of the area in the opening minutes; Fadera went on to last for 68 minutes as Como remained in the bottom three.

France

Istres Grenoble secured a ticket to the round of 32 of the Coupe de France following their 4-0 win against Istres. Saikou Touray kept his record of starting in the Coupe de France as he was named in the starting XI. Touray has made only four league appearances in Ligue 2 and only started one, which was away against Troyes.

Turkey

Ali Sowe scored a brace against Kayserispor to take his tally to five goals in 13 matches in the Turkish Super Lig. Sowe has now scored back-to-back as he registered his 23 league goals in Turkey.

Denmark

Odense BK’s lead at the top of the Nordic Bet Liga has been cut short to eight points following their 3-3 draw against B93. Young defender Yaya Bojang was on the bench while Alasana Manneh wasn’t involved.

Vejle’s impressive three-game unbeaten run came to an end following their back-to-back loss, this time against champions Midtjylland. Gogorza, Lind, and Jose Carlos were all on target in a game that saw Musa Juwara last for 85 minutes.

Bangladesh

One of the summer signings from the Gambia, Zakaria Darboe made his mark felt by scoring the winning goal in Brothers Union’s 2-1 win over Police FC. Also, Omar Sarr and Pa Babou Fortis FC were handed a 3-1 away defeat against Rahmatjang.

Austria

Abubacarr Barry scored his first league goal in the Austrian Bundesliga on Sunday in Austria Wien’s 3-1 away win against LASK. Barry doubled the visitor’s lead in the 48th and went on to set Maurice Malone in the 78th minute. Barry has featured in 13 league games and started 11 of them, registering three assists. The win moved Austria Wien to second place on the table, with 30 points from 15 games following seven straight wins.

Saudi Arabia

The Qassim derby produced a winner with the Yellows collecting three vital points. Musa Barrow, who has been in incredible form, provided the assist for the Saudi-born Abdul Fatta to score.

Senegal

Midfielder Lie Kah was on target on Saturday, but his neat finish served only as a consolation goal as it came in added time. The build-up started from Matarr Ceesay before reaching Lie to slot in his third league goal. The 2-1 home defeat has left them in 3rd position, with both Goree and Jaraaf having one match less played.
