Real De Banjul duo in Modou Lamin Demba and Bubacarr Cherno Jallow have joined Angolan side Wiliete Sport Clube on a two-year contract.
The pair appended their signature to the professional contracts on Thursday.The team from Benguela finished the 11th last season in the Girabola league, and they hope to move up the log with their new signings.
The duo who become Real de Banjul’s second batch of exports this season will leave a massive hole at the club as they chase their first national title since 2014.
The Bakau-born Modou Lamin Demba made the preliminary list for the Gambian CHAN team, scored eight goals, and provided six assists in 21 matches last season. However, he said he was ready for the task ahead.
“I am happy and excited. It’s been my dream since childhood to play abroad. It’s a proud moment for my family and me,” He told TAT Sports.
