Yankuba Minteh broke the deadlock in the fifth minute for what was his third goal in 17 PL appearances. Minteh, who played 69 minutes, was voted as the Man of the Match as the Gambian went on to assist Mitoma goal also.

Alasana Jatta added another assist to his name as Notts County secured a 3-0 away win against Accrington. Notts County also kept their 10th clean sheet of the season. Jatta was a handful in the offense, and it paid off as he assisted McGoldrick in the 27th minute of the game.

Abdoulie Ceesay made his second Bundesliga appearance in St. Pauli’s 2-0 away win against Heidenheim. Ceesay replaced Johannes Eggestein in the 80th minute as St. Pauli secured crucial points on match day 14 at the Baden-Württemberg.

There was home wins for Ablie Jallow and Saikou Touray in Ligue 2. Ablie Jallow’s shot on target resulted in a corner kick for the host, which Papa Amadou Diallo scored. Diallo got his second goal of the match in 71 minutes while countryman Idrissa Gueye was on target too. Saturday’s victory in front of 19,526 fans has sent Metz to second in the table, three points behind Lorient as they continue to chase one of the tickets to Ligue 1.

Abou Kante scored a winner in the 84th minute for AC Ajaccio, helping them secure a 2-1 win against Caen in French Ligue 2 on Friday. This was Abou’s second goal in three matches for the club.
Italy
Gambian midfielder Ebrima Darboe secured crucial points for Frosinone in their 1-1 away draw against Modena. Darboe scored the equalizer 13 minutes after the host took the lead. This is the first goal he has scored for Frosinone.
Switzerland
Both Ebrima Colley and Adama Bojang started over the weekend in the Swiss Premier League. Young Boys played a stalemate against Winterthur while Grasshopper edged Sion 1-0 courtesy of a Tomás Verón Lupi goal.
Ebrima Colley was a handful for the defending champions, coming close twice to giving the host the lead.
