Jaraaf FC registered back-to-back wins following their 1-0 victory against GenerationFoot.
Modou Manneh scored a header from Omar Faye’s cross in the 51st minute to earn Jaraaf their first away victory against the academy-based team.
Manneh was on top of his game, and his performance and goal earned him a Team of the Week appearance on match day four.
“I am happy with the goal, and I appreciate it. As my first goal of the season, it will give me confidence. Furthermore, I am happy to be part of the team that broke the winning record at the Biram Ndao stadium.” Manneh told Alkamba Times Sports
“The goal coming from me is a big motivation because both teams are big teams.”
Manneh wasn’t handed a start during the previous two league games as he came from the bench.
Comfortable on the left wing, the former Marimoo midfielder can play as a central striker and an attacking midfielder.
Manneh, who has seven goals with Jaraaf, explains his partnership with Gambia U23 midfielder Omar Faye and coach Youssouph Dabo.
“My partnership is working well, and it’s a great combination. We understand each other very well. Playing under Dabo is important and will help me in my career. Jaraaf is a big team, and every season we want to win a trophy; that’s the mentality, and we are working hard for a trophy. That’s our ambition.” He added
