Fatoumatta Sanna Keita Graduates with Honors
Fatoumatta Sanna Keita has brought pride to her family after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree (Honours) in Management and Procurement & Supply Chain Management from the University of The Gambia.
The proud granddaughter of a Kudang native, Fatoumatta’s academic success highlights the enduring legacy of excellence and ambition from the historic village. Her achievement demonstrates strong dedication and commitment to professional development in critical areas of management and supply chain expertise.
Family members, including her grandmother’s relatives from Kudang, joined in joyous celebration of this milestone. Fatoumatta’s accomplishment is seen as an inspiration for young Gambians, especially young women pursuing careers in business and public administration.
Kudang Shines Again: Two Natives Excel in Healthcare Studies at University of The Gambia
Kudang village is celebrating the remarkable academic success of two of its sons and daughters. Muctarr BK Ceesay has earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Paediatrics, while Aja Marenah graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Honours from the University of The Gambia.
Their achievements highlight the growing commitment of Kudang’s youth to professional excellence in healthcare. Ceesay’s advanced qualification in paediatrics strengthens child health expertise in the country, and Marenah’s honours degree in nursing promises dedicated service to maternal and general care.
Community leaders and families expressed immense pride, describing the graduates as inspiring role models for the next generation. These accomplishments add to Kudang’s proud legacy of academic excellence and national contribution.
Mr. Momodou Lamin S. Bah Graduated With A BSc in Management (Hons)
Mr. Momodou Lamin S. Bah, a seasoned insurance practitioner with over 25 years of experience in The Gambia’s insurance industry has graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honours in Management and Marketing from the University of The Gambia (UTG).
Mr. Bah previously bagged insurance Certificate from the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), a Diploma in Insurance from the West African Insurance Institute (WAII), a Diploma in Banking and Finance (MDI), a Diploma and HND in Marketing and Advertisement (IPFM), and a Diploma in Information Technology (ICM).
Mr. Bah currently is the head of the Marketing Department of Supersonicz Islamic Insurance Co. Ltd. His previous managerial roles in various insurance companies in The Gambia include Assistant Manager for Marketing, Customer Service, Business Development, and Head of Branches at Gambia National Insurance Co. Ltd. (GNIC); Branch Manager at New Vision Insurance Co. Ltd. and IGI-Gamstar Insurance Co. Ltd.; and Managing Director / CEO at Dingareh Insurance Brokers. He is also a community and youth activist, with a strong track record of excellence and competence in discharging his duties and responsibilities.
