Ablie Jallow and Saidy Janko were relieved as Gaira Joof hit a brace while Sol Marreh returned for the buffaloes.

Italy

Pablo Mari prevented Lameck Banda’s cross-shot from reaching Assan Ceesay at the back post in the game’s early minutes. It ended Monza 0 Lecce 1 as Lorenzo Colombo kept his cool to blast down the middle with the last kick of the game. The season’s final game was Assan’s 33rd league match in Serie A.

Victor Osimhen’s brace was insufficient for Napoli as Bologna clawed back to draw 2-2. Goal opportunities were availed to both teams as Musa Barrow drilled across the face of the goal. However, Michel Aebischer couldn’t keep his header on target from a Barrow cross.

 France

Metz pipped Bordeaux to second place on Saturday following their 1-0 win against Sochaux. Bordeaux lost to Annecy thanks to the former Metz player’s Pajot goal. Bordeaux is level on points with Metz though they have a goal advantage which will be enough for Metz with a win on Friday to return to Ligue1. Ablie Jallow played 77 minutes and operated on the right wing.

 Germany

Saidy Janko and VFL Bochum managed one point in the first eight games of the Bundesliga. Still, they turned things around on Saturday following a 3-0 win against Bayer Leverkusen. Saidy Janko played his 20th league game on the final day after starting the last two league games.

Hamburg SV’s return to the Bundesliga for the first time since 2018 was put on hold. Instead, they finished third following a dramatic end on the final day. FC Heidenheim, who had been trailing 1-2 until injury time in the parallel match at SSV Jahn Regensburg, turned the game around to win 3-2 and pushed HSV back into the relegation place. Bakery Jatta was suspended for Saturday’s game but played a crucial role this season with four goals and three assists in 23 matches.

 Belgium

Sulayman Marreh returned to action for the first time in three months. The Gambian midfield maestro was introduced in the 85 minutes of KAA Gent’s 3-1 win over VC Westerlo on Saturday.

 Denmark

Abdoulie Njai scored his 3rd league goal on Sunday when he scored the equalizer in the 90th against SönderjyskE.

As a result, Naestved finished sixth, and Njai made 16 appearances in the concluded season.

Vejle drew 1-1 against Helsingor FC, with Hamza Barry being named in the starting XI. Gambian prospect Muhammadu Drammeh got the goal for the visitors.

 Moldova

Bubacarr Tambedou wrapped up the double with FC Sheriff following post penalty win against CSF Balti. Tambedou took the sixth shot for the champions.
