The Red scorpion and Gambian center back is the new Minister of sports at the University of the Gambia.
The star player was voted to serve at the helm of sports affairs at the University of the Gambia after defeating Sang Pierre Mendy in the polls.
This is the 20th Executive council in the history of university of the Gambia (UTG).
“I’m the one chosen by the majority of students in the ministerial position without looking at gender differences. I will do everything possible to serve the best interest of the students at all times”. Samba said adding that,
“There is no discrimination in sports”. She promised to deliver a bottom-up approach to understand what students need in her ministry alongside opportunities to decide how they want the ministry to work, she added.
