France

Ablie Jallow scored a sensational goal in Metz’s 1-1 draw against Lyon. This is the second time the Gambian international has scored a stunner against Lyon. Jallow has now netted 2 goals in 7 matches in Ligue1. Jallow gave Metz the lead in the 77th minute but Alevero equalized for the hosts.

Germany

Bakary Jatta scored his third goal of the season as Hamburg SV moved to second position in the 1.Bundesliga, two points behind St Pauli. Bakery Jatta doubled the lead in the 72nd minute to ensure HSV’s perfect home run continued.

Denmark

Alagie Saine made his 12th appearance for AC Horsens, the Gambia U20 star has started seven of those games as AC Horsens edge HB Køge 4-1. Saine was played as a Right-back.

Musa Juwara and Hamza Barry narrowly lost to FC Nordsjælland. Musa came on in the 69th minute and forced an equalizer in the 86th minute only to be overruled by VAR.

Alasana Jatta who earned his 100th appearance for Viborg made his 101 appearance in Viborg’s 2-1 win over Silkeborg. The former Real de Banjul talisman replaced Ibrahim Said for his 11th appearance of the season.

Sweden   

Bubacarr Trawally started Hammarby’s 0-0 draw against Värnamo. This is the second appearance for the former Al Shabab forward. The Gambian played against BK Häcken but missed the meeting against Djurgården and Sirius.  

Czech Republic

Sheriff Sinyan recovered fully and featured in Slavia Praha’s 2-1 defeat against Viktoria by replacing Jan Boril.

Estonia

Bubacarr Tambedou who was named in the team of the week for match day 34 scored for Paide as they returned to 3rd position following Tallinn’s 1-1 draw against Kalju. Foday Trawally came on in the 60th minute in that game. Tambedou doubled Paide´s lead in the 8th minute, it was his sixth goal of the campaign.

Slovakia

Musa Jatta’s development in Slovakia continues as the loanee from BST Galaxy made another impact at the back of FK Pohronie. Saturday’s 3-2 win against Trebišov was his 13th appearance as he started 12 of them. Gambia U20 Right-Back Bakary Juwara started the game and it was his second appearance.

Egypt

Zed FC’s flying start to the season continued as they beat Zamalek 2-1 on match day six of the Egyptian Premier League. Mohammed Sawaneh came off the bench to make his fifth appearance of the season.

Morroco

Pa modou Sohna played 63 minutes in JS Soualem’s 2-2 draw against Chabab Mohammédia.

Tanzania

Gibril Sillah assisted Bajna in Azam’s 3-1 win over Ihefu. The former Raja Casablanca winger has now scored two goals and provided three assists.

The Stockholm-based Journalist is a media officer, football Scout, PR, Influencer and Digital creator. I started my journalism career as a football analyst in 2012 with Vibes FM and went on to work with CityLimit, West Coast, Hot FM, Freedom Radio, Eye Africa and Afri Radio as a content producer and presenter. In 2013, I attended Football Daily on the BBC SPORTS where we discussed the different styles of Football played in Africa. I have hosted dozens of shows and was invited as a guest on both radio, TV and the online press. I also covered the Gambia's maiden AFCON debut in 2021 in Cameroon.
