Modou Lamin Nyassi the head coach of Brikama United has won the coach of the month award for January – February 2022 in the Gambia Football Federation male first division league.
Nyassi a former Brikama United midfielder and now the head coach of the ‘Satehbaa boys’ guided the club to two wins and three draws in five matches from January to February and his side is still unbeaten this season in division one.
“I felt so great, these are accolades that also added to my CV I will thank my backroom staff my players the boards, and the fans for their support”, he said.
Nyassi further commended and urge the Gambia Football Coaches Association (GFCA) and GFF to continue supporting the coaches which he says will encourage the coaches to do well.
The Gambia Football Coaches Association (GFCA) the body behind the awards, presents the award to him during his teams’ one-all draw against Gamtel at the FIFA goal project in Yundum.
