Banjul, The Gambia, December 15, 2021 – Grab your swimsuits and sunscreen, folks, because there’s going to be one exciting show on the Palma Rima beach on Sunday December 19th .
The superstar duo of Modou Ngum/Sanusi Jawara of Olympafrica will be squaring off against Ebrima Bah/Musa Barry in the men final of the Gambia national beach volleyball championship.
If Ngum/Jawara win, that will make a record for Olympafrica as the poster boys of Gambia Volleyball as they already won the indoor national league, whiles Barry/Bah will be looking for the first beach volleyball gold as players.
In the women’s final GAF’s Abie Kujabie/Safie Sawaneh and Police’s Fatoumatta Ceesay/Sainabou Tambedou will go head to head as they battle for the right to be crown Gambia beach volleyball champions. If Kujabie/Sawaneh wins, it will be a historic victory as it will mark their third gold medal winning it in 2014 and 2017 editions. Police are out to defend the title they won in 2019.
