Gambian-Swedish striker Alieu Njie handed Torino the three points following three straight defeats for the Turin-based club. Alieu Njie went up for a header near the edge of the Como penalty area, got the follow-up, capitalized on a bad header backwards from Matthias Braunöder, and then managed to take a heavy touch around Audero before tucking the ball into the back of the net. Como who also had Alieu Fadera in their set up are in 14th position with only nine points. Fadera, who has started Como’s last six games, lasted 82 minutes.

England

Dajaune Brown’s header sealed a 1-1 draw for the Rams against Hull City at Pride Park. The 19-year-old scored his first goal of the season. Derby have now registered three 1-1 draws in their last four matches. The visitor’s took the lead through Simons in the 57th minute. Gambian midfielder Ebou Adams came close to getting his second goal of the season only to miss a chance across the face of goal.

Alasana Jatta scored at Meadow Lane as Notts County edged Harrogate 1-0. Notts kept on knocking in the first half as Alasana Jatta saw a header go just over the bar in the 10th minute. The deadlock was finally broken in the 58th minute when Nick Tsaroulla delivered a precise cross from the left wing, finding Alasana Jatta in space. Jatta controlled the ball well and slotted it past Harrogate’s keeper into the bottom right corner. Jatta has scored six goals in 10 league matches. He has contributed to a total of 19 goals (15 goals and 4 assists) in 21 appearances for the club.

Denmark

13 became the lucky number for Vejle as they secured their first win of the season through Tobias Lauritsen and Musa Juwara goals in the second half. The Gambian duo came in the second half with Musa Juwara making an instant impact by extending the home side lead in the 62nd minutes. Juwara has now taken his goal contribution to four (one goal and three assists).

Alasana Manneh has set an individual record with six assists. The Gambian midfielder assisted Max Ejdum in the 45th minutes as Odense extended their lead before the break. OB went held on to their lead as they produced another stellar performance against Esbjerg in Danish Division 1 on Saturday.

Estonia

Paide secured a 2-0 win against Tammeka to keep their European spot alive. Talisman Abdoulie Ceesay was serving a ban; however, Niktia Baranov and Milan Delevic scored one each. Ebrima Jarju registered his eight cleansheet and its back-to-back clean sheet for the Gambian netminder. Muhammed Susso replaced Robi Saarma in the 77th minute to make his fourth appearance, with the last three coming off the bench.

Tanzania

Azam registered a 4-1 victory against Kengold, with Gibril Sillah scoring the third goal in the 50th minute. After nine matches, Azam is currently sitting in fourth position.
