A Brace from Yankuba Jarju and Moussa Njie, a sublime goal from Badamoesi, and a debut goal for Yankuba Minteh, while Ablie Jallow returns to action with a Golazo, was the highest points in the performance of Gambian players abroad over the weekend.
France
Ligue1
Ablie Jallow was named in Metz’s squad against Stade de Reims. Jallow suffered a knee injury during the preseason, which has kept him out of action since then.
Ablie Jallow scored within One minute after his introduction to pull even for Metz. Jallow’s sublime strike is his first Ligue1 goal and his eighth at the Stade Saint-Symphorien.
Ligue2
Grenoble Foot38 remains the only unbeaten team in the French second tier, and the team is yet to concede a goal going into the international break. They played a goalless draw against Bastia, with Saikou Touray playing 64 minutes while Abdoulie Sanyang was introduced in the 80th minute.
CHAMPIONNAT NATIONAL
Yankuba Jarju scored a brace in SO Cholet’s 2-1 win over SAS Épinal. Jarju, who has four goals in four matches, rounded the goalkeeper to tap home the opener in the 16th minute. Just before going to the break, the Pirang-born extended his side’s lead to complete his brace in the 43rd minute.
Turkey
Omar Colley scored his third goal in four matches for Beşiktaş. The Gambian skipper nodded a stunning header to give the host the lead against Sivasspor. The former Genk and Djurgården defender is close to equalling his scoring record with KUPS(where he scored seven goals)

Holland
Yankuba Minteh signed off to international duties with his debut goal for Feyenoord. Minteh came off the bench and dribbled past the host goalkeeper before adding his first and visitor’s fifth of the afternoon in the 90+3 minutes.
Denmark
It was the Gambian derby on Friday; Hamza Barry and Alasana Manneh battled it out in midfield. Tom Saintfiet has named the duo for the upcoming match against Congo. Musa Juwara, who started the last two games on the bench, provided the crucial assist to Jasin Assehnoun to score the winner in the 82nd minute. This is the first three points for Vejle.
Saudi Arabia
Mohammed Badamoesi joined Assan Ceesay in scoring on his home debut in Al Hasem’s 5-1 defeat against Al Nassr FC. Badamoesi received a pass from Toze and pushed a bit to strike a surprise in the 47th minute.
Assan Ceesay and Damac remained in 12th position following their 3-1 defeat against Steven Gerrard’s side Al-Ettifaq FC. Still searching for their first win, Damac hoped for Assan’s brilliance to aid them in the encounter.
