The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Momodou Bah as Media Officer for the TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup Final between Pyramids FC of Egypt and RS Berkane of Morocco, scheduled to take place at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo on Saturday, 18 October 2025.
This marks Momodou’s first assignment in the CAF Interclub competitions, following a remarkable journey across several continental tournaments. He has previously served in three TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations — in Niger (2019), Mauritania (2021), and Egypt (2023) — and was part of the media operations team at the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Cameroon 2021.
The former Sports Journalists Association of The Gambia (SJAG) Assistant Secretary General was last on CAF duty at the Men’s Futsal AFCON Morocco 2024, further underlining his consistent presence and growing reputation within the continental football media space.
A respected sports journalist and football administrator, Momodou has been a driving force behind the professional growth of Real de Banjul FC, serving as the club’s Secretary General since 2016.
Momodou’s appointment is another testament to his dedication, professionalism, and the growing recognition of Gambian football administrators on the continental stage.
