PDOIS and its coalition partners told a press on Monday December 6 that after consultations with their polling agents, they don’t have substantial evidence to challenge the election results and outcome, which gave president Adama Barrow a landslide victory at the Supreme Court of the Gambia.
Halifa Sallah, the PDOIS presidential candidate says: “As a coalition, we cannot say in anyway that, we are going to present anything before the Supreme Court to challenge the IEC on the Election.”
He stated that it is the sovereign authority of the people to entrust their power and authority with any candidate who contested in the election, adding that the authority should be utilized to promote the liberty and prosperity of the people.
