Alasana Jatta, Baboucarr Faal, Alieu Fadera and Ebou Adams were among the standout Gambian performers across Europe over the weekend, delivering decisive goals for their respective clubs.
England
Premier League
Harry Wilson struck in stoppage time to secure a late victory for Fulham. Yasin Ayari had given the visitors the lead midway through the first half before substitute Samuel Chukwueze equalised 19 minutes from time.
Yankuba Minteh was introduced late in the game, replacing Diego Gómez in the 80th minute.
Championship
Ebou Adams made his third appearance for Portsmouth since joining the club and etched his name into Fratton Park folklore with a crucial equaliser in the South Coast Derby.
Adams cancelled out Leo Scienza’s opener in the 77th minute, rising highest to head home from close range. His performance earned him the Man of the Match award.
League Two
Alasana Jatta’s eighth-minute header proved decisive as Notts County secured a 1-0 win. Jatta nodded home Nick Tsaroulla’s cross, outjumping his markers to register his 10th league goal of the season.
The victory moved Notts County up to seventh place with 45 points. Jatta was unlucky not to add to his tally, striking the post and crossbar with a swerving effort before seeing another close-range attempt saved by goalkeeper Ian Lawlor.
Italy – Serie A
Alieu Fadera scored his third Serie A goal as Sassuolo claimed their first league win since December 6.
The 24-year-old, making his 22nd appearance of the campaign, struck in the third minute against Cremonese. After Emil Audero parried Armand Laurienté’s long-range effort, Fadera reacted quickest to tap in from close range.
Winter Camp Friendlies
Several Scorpions players are currently involved in winter camp friendly matches across Europe, including in Sweden, Denmark, the Czech Republic and Ukraine.

Baboucarr Faal continued his impressive form for Rukh Lviv, scoring a hat-trick — including a 50th-minute penalty — as his side cruised to a 5-1 win over Nyva. Faal now has seven league goals and continues to impress following his arrival.
Estonia
Bubacarr Tambedou scored twice in JK Vaprus’ 2-2 draw. His first came in the 31st minute after intercepting a misplaced defensive header before finishing with his right foot. He added a second with a header in the 52nd minute.
In another fixture, Paide and RFS shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw. Ebrima Jarju, Pa Modou Sohna and Abdourahman Badamosi all started, while Modou Saidy beat Jarju at the near post with a powerful half-volley.
Sweden
Goals from Elias Jemal and Åke Andersson secured a 2-0 win for IFK Norrköping over Brommapojkarna. Defender Abdoulie Tamba was introduced in the second half.
