Gambian players abroad continued their impressive goalscoring form over the weekend, with Adama Sidibeh, Alasana Jatta and Suwaibou Kebbeh all finding the back of the net for their respective clubs.
England
League One
Stockport County strengthened their playoff push with a convincing 3-0 victory over AFC Wimbledon, maintaining fifth place in the table.
Sidibeh made an immediate impact, opening the scoring in just the second minute with a composed finish from a low cross delivered by Ben Osborn. However, his game was cut short due to injury, with Wootton later doubling the lead before halftime.
League Two
At Notts County, Jatta continued his prolific form, scoring twice in a 2-0 win over Harrogate Town. The Gambian striker found the net in both halves and was unlucky not to complete a hat-trick.

Jatta has now taken his tally to 15 goals this season, following an outstanding previous campaign where he scored 19 goals and was nominated PFA League Two Players’ Player of the Year. Notts County currently sit third on 73 points.
Latvia
League leaders RFS secured a 2-0 victory in a friendly against Cypriot side Krasava ENY.

Both Modou Saidy and Haruna Rashid Njie featured in the match, with Saidy starting and Njie coming on in the second half.
Sweden
Suwaibou Kebbeh continued his fine run of form in pre-season, scoring in GIF Sundsvall’s last three friendly matches.
After netting against Finnish side VPS, Kebbeh was again on target as Sundsvall defeated his former club Hammarby TFF, scoring his side’s third goal in the 57th minute. Sundsvall will kick off their season against Nordic United FC on Sunday.
Philippines
Manila Diggers extended their unbeaten run to nine matches with a dominant 10-0 victory over Philippine Army FC.
Former Banjul United striker Pa Ousman Gai stole the headlines with an incredible six-goal performance. Saikouba Ceesay added another in stoppage time, while Modou Manneh and Baboucarr Touray also got on the scoresheet.
