DJ Pattern, a Germany-based Gambian Deejay, is ready to promote Gambian music across the European market and globally as he recently concluded a European tour with Hussain Dada and ST Brikama Boyo, one of Gambia’s finest artists.
DJ Pattern teamed up with his business partner Demba to two Gambian artists, ST Brikama Boyo and Hussain Dada, for a European tour in June 2023 and had a successful tour with them.
ST. Brikama Boyo performed at one People festival in Hannover and had a captivating and well-crowded performance in Bremen, Stuttgart, Milan, Napoli, Italy, and Sweden. Hussain Dada has also performed in Stuttgart, Holland, and Italy.
He describes the tour as a massive success as Gambian music is now crossing borders.
“My priority is promoting Gambian music, reggae dancehall, and reggaeton, assuring that he will continue educating and entertaining people through music by spreading positivity, togetherness as one people in the world,” DJ Pattern told TAT Entertainment.
Raised in The Gambia, he spent his time listening to good music. He was inspired that music is a tool to spread positivity across the globe inspired him to take deejay as a career to entertain, teach, and unify people through music.
He started deejaying in 2009 in Gambia, where he worked with different Gambian artists. He was also booked as a DJ for cultural and traditional festivals.
When he came to Germany, he continued his passion for music and connected with the DJ community, which was challenging. Through DJ Bugs and DJ Benjamin from Killer Sound, he slipped step by step into the DJ community and music scene.
He explained that since 2016 he had been an active DJ in the music genres Afrobeats, Hip Hop, RnB, Latino, Reggae, Dancehall, German rap, and a little pop.
He has worked for artists like Bennie Man, Tiana, Luciano, Gappy Ranks, Talawah Sound, Herbalize it Sound, and Dancehall Connect in Bremen.
He said he played gigs at festivals, large clubs, and bookings in various EU countries and Gambia.
He is accredited for his professionalism and humbleness, which allowed him to work with many promoters, artists, DJs, and event organizers. He is the official DJ for Hussain Dada, Gambia’s sensational artiste Europe tour in June. Together with Hussain Dada, they have performed shows in Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy, regarded as a successful tour.

He is currently the chief executive officer of the Empire Sound System, aimed at training young people into professional Djs in Europe and the Gambia.
