Inspector Jamanka said the the informant informed police that he received a tipoff from a colleague about a particular truck loaded with rice heading to Brikama with the four suspects who allegedly nicked tons of rice supplies by using a pipe referred to as a ‘trump’ to fill up other empty bags.
“They succeeded in filling five bags from the hundred bags loaded,” the deputy police mouthpiece told journalists.
Jamaica said the men ran out of luck in Abuko where they were intercepted by traffic wardens.
