The indomitable tall, lanky Gambian Beach Volleyball star Sainey Jawo has guided The Gambia to a Gold medal crown in the just concluded Zone II Beach Volleyball in Guinea Bissau.

Sainey Jawo misses his long-time partner, Mbye Babou Jarra, but the young and agile Pa Alieu Njie was there to ensure that he complimented Jarra’s effort in defending the Zone II Beach Volleyball crown.

Sainey Jawo expresses joy for guiding The Gambia to another Beach Volleyball glory in the sub-region. Sainey told The Alkamba Yimws that heel an honor to represent The Gambia.

“I feel proud winning another gold medal for my beloved country, The Gambia. It’s always a pleasure to wear the national flag; I always dream of giving my best to my country because I love my nation so much. I always want Gam Volleyball to be in the history books of Gambia sports. What your country can do for you and what you can do for your country, and a big congratulations to my new Partner, Pa Alieu Njie.” Sainey Jawo, the Birmingham Commonwealth Games Beach Volleyball quarter-finalist, said.
