Job Description
THE ALKAMBA TIMES is looking for a highly experienced multimedia journalist who can do the full job — operate cameras, capture clean audio, edit video and sound, and tell accurate stories for Gambians at home and in the diaspora.
Responsibilities
- Report original news, features, and investigations.
- Shoot interviews, stand-ups, and field footage.
- Record broadcast-quality audio.
- Edit video and sound for web, social media, and digital editions.
- Write scripts, captions, and accompanying copy.
- Work independently and under deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven multimedia experience (not entry-level).
- A portfolio of work you have shot and/or edited.
- Strong camera, audio, and editing skills.
- Clear English writing and sound news judgment.
- Willingness to travel within The Gambia.

Location: Serrekunda, The Gambia
