Brikama-born U17 defender, Kawsu Sanneh, has officially joined eBanor Sports Agency, Alkamba Times has learned, following an announcement made on the agency’s official Facebook page.
The young right back and center back, known for his calm defensive presence and versatility, becomes the latest addition to the roster of eBanor Sports—a Gambian-based agency focused on identifying and nurturing football talent. He will now be under the mentorship of Sheriff ML Jarju, CEO of the agency.
Sanneh is currently in Ukraine, training with Rukh FC in Lviv. According to sources close to the agency, the defender has spent over a month with the club’s youth setup, gaining critical exposure to European training environments and impressing Rukh officials with his development.
He was first spotted during Rukh FC’s official scouting visit to The Gambia in November 2024—a talent-hunting mission facilitated by eBanor Sports that aimed to connect local players with international opportunities.
“eBanor Sports was founded to create opportunities for young footballing talents in The Gambia by mentoring and providing pathways for them,” said Sheriffo Jarju, speaking about the agency’s vision. “Kawsu’s progress is a perfect example of what’s possible when potential meets opportunity.”
While the club has not confirmed a formal deal, Alkamba Times understands that discussions around a possible academy contract may already be underway. With over four weeks of consistent training and positive reviews, insiders suggest that Kawsu could be close to securing a long-term stay in Lviv.
For now, the promising defender continues to train and adapt to his new environment—showing just how far Gambian talent can go when given the right platform.
