Over the weekend, the Kanifing Municipality Regional Football Association (KMRFA) conducted another successful six-day intensive D License Coaching Course for its regional coaches. The course was basically introduced to build the capacity of those that want to take coaching as a profession. The training attracted 30 participants from the Kanifng Municipality.
“We have completed the training of another batch of CAF D- License for intake NO.005. the participants went on an intensive six days capacity building program to broaden their scope and knowledge base in football coaching,” Ibrahim Kalilou Doumbouya, one of the training facilitators, told the Alkamba Times.
The new syllabus complied with by CAF comprehensively analyzed the four central aspects of the subject in modern-day coaching.
“The course will have a greater influence and change the dynamic of our orientation with regards to young players and their ambitions in football,” Doumbouya added.
It was conducted under the tutelage of Gambian CAF/FIFA course instructors in Hon. Alagie Sillah, Lamin LS Sambou, Alhagie Amat Cham, and Alagie Ebrima Nyassi.
