The Scorpions of The Gambia are drawn with Mali, Congo, and South Sudan in group G of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The teams will play each other in a round-robin with the top two advancing to the competition set to be hosted by Ivory Coast.
Matches are set to kick start in the window of June when two games are set to be played by each team.
Congo is the only former AFCON winner in the group – winning in 1972. Mali, despite appearing 12 times is yet to win the title.
Scorpions will be hoping to make a back-to-back appearance after making their debut in Cameroon where they finish as a quarter-finalist.
