The most successful football club in Gambian football history Wallidan got off to a perfect start in the 2021-22 GFF division one league with a conformable 2-nil win over Elite United.

The “Blue Boys” Wallidan are among this seasons top favorites for the GFF league title after a successful two week pre-season tour in Saudi Arabia.

Foday Bah, head coach of the club said his club is going all out for the league title this year.

“At Wallidan winning the league is not an option but a requirement for us as the most decorated football team in the history of The Gambia,” he stated, saying they are aware of the task and will do everything possible to deliver silverware for their fans.

The last time Wallidan won a league title was back in the 2008-2009 league season.
