Yaya Bojang, Moses Gomez get first professional goal as Dembo Darboe breaks deadlock

Young defenders Yaya Bojang and Moses Jarju scored their first professional goals over the weekend as they helped their clubs secure vital points. Dembo Darboe broke his goal drought as he had gone four games without a goal.

Italy

Maxence Caqueret, Gabriel Strefezza, and Patrick Cutrone scored for Como to secure their sixth consecutive victory. Fadera came off the bench in the 74th minute to make his 28th Serie A appearance.

Germany
The city of Hamburg erupted in wild celebrations over the weekend. On Saturday, Hamburg SV returned to the Bundesliga after seven -year absence. On Sunday, St. Pauli secured a 2-2 draw that ensured their safety in the Bundesliga. Picking up 18 points on the road while unbeaten in their last three away games. Abdoulie Ceesay hasn’t featured for the Kiezkickers in their last four league matches. A ligament tear for Bakery Jatta only limited him to nine appearances for Hamburg SV. 

Denmark
Young Gambian defender Yaya Bojang, who was mainly on the bench for the champions, was handed his second appearance of the season. Bojang replaced Owusu and played 28 minutes. He led Odense’s comeback as he scored a header in the 89th minute as Luca Kjerrumgaard scored the equalizer. James Gomez played 90 minutes while Alagie Saine was an unused substitute.

Latvia
Haruna Rashid Njie and Modou Saidy were unused substitutes in RFS’s 5-1 win over Wallys Fofana BFC Daugavpils. Rashid was involved in RFS’s last three league games but was left on the bench together with Modou Saidy, who scored two impressive goals for the B team. Champions currently have 28 points after 12 games.

Ukraine

It was a goal fiesta for Gambians in Ukraine as both Moses Jarju and Baboucarr Faal scored for their clubs.

Trusted to be started, Baboucarr Faal scored his second league goal for Rukh Lviv as they beat Veres Rivne 2-0.

Moses Jarju scored his first professional goal with a winner for his side, Chornomorets Odesa, as they beat Vorskla 2-1 in the Ukrainian Premier League on Saturday.

Azerbaijan 
Dembo Darboe scored his fourth league goal in Neftçi Baku’s 2-1 victory over Turan. The striker was on the bench in the last two league matches but completed the entire game on Saturday, thus getting the winner. The result propelled Nefici to sixth position on the log.

South Korea
Modou Barrow scored and assisted for his side, Incheon United, as they beat Chungnam Asan 3-0 in the South Korean K-League on Saturday. Barrow was making his 5th league start in 11 appearances for the club.
