Week 51 saw Ebrima Colley and Yankuba Minteh starting from the bench in their club’s massive win in their respective leagues. The latter was not involved in Feyenoord’s 4-0 win over Heracles.
England
Stockport County’s huge win highlighted Ibou Touray’s contribution as he registered two assists against Sutton. Touray, who missed the Scorpion’s last two matches, has now provided six assists in 14 league matches in the English League Two. The Hatters have now taken a six-point advantage lead.
Ten-men Wrexham AFC edged Colchester United 2-1 as Jackob Mendy played the full throttle at the STōK Cae Ras.
Swindon suffered their third home defeat of the season on Saturday afternoon, losing 3-0 to Barrow. Kian Spence, Sam Foley, and James Chester scored for the visitors. Saidou Khan was named the man of the match.

Bakery Jatta has now taken his goal involvement to six. (3 goals & 3 assists) in 16 Bundesliga 2 games. This came after Hamburg’s 2-0 win over FC Nürnberg at the Max-Morlock-Stadio. Glatzel chested down Jatta’s cross and picked out the far corner for 1-0 in the 81st minute.
Switzerland
Ebrima Colley wasn’t involved in the St Gallen match and only played 17 minutes in Young Boy’s 3-1 win over FC Stade-Lausanne-Ouchy. Last week, Colley became the first Gambian to score in the UEFA Champions League. Before Saturday’s match, he had started the league’s previous matches.
Slovenia
Susso Bamba handed NK Aluminij a crucial victory after scoring the lone goal in the match against NK ROGAŠKA in the Slovenian Premier League on Saturday. Bamba started 11 out of the 16 league matches as NK Aluminij sits on 8th with 18 points.
Cyrus
Alieu was on target in Pegia’s emphatic 8-0 win against Ermis Aradippou in the Cyprus Second division. The former Falcons winger was out injured; this is his third league match.
Algeria
On Friday, Lamin Jallow scored for CR Belouizdad in their 1-1 draw against Ben Aknoun. The former US Salernitana 1919 player had a goal overturned by VAR.
Egypt
Mohammed Sawaneh was handed his first season start for ZED FC following their 2-1 win over Farco. Sawaneh has played seven league matches.
Alieu Jatta’s versatility continued as he helped El Gouna FC. He played in the defensive midfield position in his side’s 3-2 win over National. The Gambian international had 78% accurate passes, three clearances, two interceptions, and two aerial duels won in 89 minutes.
Gambian’s European competition continued as James Gomez, Ebrima Colley, and Yankuba Minteh learned their fate for the UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE Knockout rounds Playoffs. The first legs will be played on 15 February at 18:45 and the second on 22 February at 18:45. Feyenoord will play AS Roma, Young Boys will play Sporting, and Sparta Praha will play Galatasaray.
