Alfusainey Jatta has been involved in FK RFS four Virsliga matches this season, starting two and coming from the bench on two occasions.

Jatta just played two league games last season coupled with some league cup appearances. Notwithstanding, the well-traveled 22-year-old midfielder with four titles has a run of good playing time of late.

Jatta described his ability to get enough playing time now as due to total patience, belief in his quality, and hard work.

The defending champions are four points off the first position, drawing away against FK Metta and a Stalemate against Auda Kekava but the Gambian international said they will get back on track.

“Nothing comes easy in life. As champions, we will get back to our winning ways.” Jatta stressed

The Gambia will know their AFCON 2023 qualifying opponents when CAF holds the draw on 19th April 2022 at 17:30 GMT and Jatta who won the WAFU U20 with the junior scorpions is expecting to make his senior debut in due time as he also commended the team for their output.

“The Gambia is now a nation that churns out professional football players each year and the majority are young players so I believe there will come a time we will be having many more top-class players.” He added.
