The Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC) so-called “king makers” in Gambian politics, will contest in five (5) out of the 12 constituencies in the West Coast Region (WCR).
This is the APRC wing under the leadership of veteran politician Fabakary Tombong Jatta (FJT).
This was announced in a press statement issued this week ahead of the selection of aspiring candidates forever the National Assembly election slated for April 9, 2022.
According to the statement, the APRC will joined forces with the National People’s Party (NPP) in a tactical alliance.
“The APRC shall put in five (5) candidates within the West Coast Region (WCR) namely, Foni Berefet, Bintang, Bondali, Jarrol and Kansala constituencies respectively”, the APRC release stated.
It added that all selection of candidates shall be coordinated by all the parties and representatives of Independent candidates participating in the alliance.
