With Feyenoord seeded in Pot One of the Champions League, five more Gambian internationals will be hoping to play in UEFA competition this season.

Champions League

James Gomez, who is yet to play for Sparta Prague, has seen his side paired with FC Copenhagen in the third round of the UEFA Champions League. The first tie is in Denmark on 8/8, while the return leg is on 15/8.

Alieu Fadera was introduced in the 69th minute as he saw his side Genk, crash out at the expense of Swiss side Servette via penalties after 120 minutes of action. Genk’s European journey continues as they take on Olympiacos Piraeus in the third round of the Europa League.
