Manneh climbs on top of Allsveskan goal king chat after sensational hat trick

Abdoulie Manneh scored a hat trick as Mjällby beat Degerförs 4-1. The win saw them moved to 2nd position in the Swedish Allsvenskan with 14 points from 6 games.

Derby County and Como respectively registered a 1-0 win over the weekend, while James Gomez joined Jackob Mendy and Mo Faal in earning another promotion, with the latter securing a Championship ticket while former and Odense BK returned back to the Superliga.

England
Albion scored two goals in four minutes to salvage hopes of European football. Brighton welcomes West Ham at the Amex following seven games without a win. Mitoma and Minteh were introduced in the 62nd minute as Albion began to get on top again.

In the Championship
Derby County secured a valuable three points at the MKM Stadium following a late 1-0 victory against Hull City. Nat Phillips’ header in the 84th minute sealed all three points for them and kept the Rams out of the division’s bottom three by a point going into the final round of fixtures next weekend.

The North Wales outfit, Wrexham, on Saturday earned another promotion for a record third consecutive time following their 3-0 win over Charlton Athletic on Saturday. The Gambian duo were ruled out because of injury.

Italy

Como secured a 1-0 win over Genoa on Sunday, securing Serie A survival with four games remaining thanks to Gabriel Strefezza’s goal. Alieu Fadera replaced the goal scorer in the 71st minute for his 26th league appearance as Como got their fourth consecutive victory and, most importantly, an early survival.

France
Metz FC’s seven-game unbeaten run came to an end following their 2-1 away defeat against Pau FC. The Grenats are currently in 3rd position with 61 points. Ablie Jallow played and lasted for 72 minutes.

Sweden
Four of Manneh’s goals in the Allsvenskan were scored away from home. He described his hat trick at the Strandvallen stadium as a dream come true. Manneh had a handful of 63 minutes as he scored all three goals. The Gambian star was responsible for scoring the goals in the absence of Nicklas Röjkjaer. He gave the home team the lead in the first minute of the match and went on to score in the 17th and 54th minute.

Hungary
Lamin Colley scored and assisted for his side, Puskas Akademia, in their 3-1 win over Fehérvár in the Hungarian Premier League on Saturday. That was Lamin’s 10th league goal and third assist of the season. They are currently second on the table with 56 points, 3 points behind the leaders.
