Trust Bank PLC (TBPLC) has announced that its ordinary shares will be delisted from the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) effective Friday, 25 September 2026. The move follows a tender offer by Solo Dabo Company Limited (the Sponsor) to acquire TBPLC shares held on the Ghana share register at GHS 1.20 per share.
The offer was made under the Tender Offer Circular dated 11 August 2026. It closed on 11 September 2026, and settlement has been completed with all qualifying shareholders who tendered their shares.
At the close of the offer, qualifying shareholders tendered 3,510,021 shares. That figure represents 47.89 percent of the 7,328,773 ordinary shares held on the Ghana share register.
After 25 September 2026, TBPLC shares will no longer trade on the GSE. The Ghana share register will remain open for a three-month transitional period. After that window, holdings will be transferred to TBPLC’s principal share register in The Gambia. Shareholders who wish to trade their shares during the transitional period should contact the registrar or the sponsoring broker for assistance.
Trust Bank PLC is a leading commercial bank in The Gambia. It offers a wide range of banking products and services to retail and business customers.
Founded in 1997, the bank acquired the assets and liabilities of the defunct Meridian Biao (Gambia) Bank. It is one of the largest commercial banks in The Gambia by asset size and branch network. The Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation (SSHFC) of The Gambia is its major shareholder.
The delisting ends TBPLC’s listing on the GSE while leaving a short window for remaining Ghana-registered shareholders to seek help with any trades before their holdings move to the Gambia register. Shareholders with questions about the transition should contact the contacts listed above.
