The Gabi Sosseh football field in Kerr Mama village Upper Niumi is hosting a memorial football final between Massoseh FC of Kerr Mama and the Indomitable Lions of Sami Koto.
The tournament staged and sponsored by Gambian MLS referee Baboucarr Jallow is a unique tribute to Journalist Pa Modou Faal, who died in a tragic car accident in 2022.
A moment of deep appreciation for the outstanding works of the late Journalist, the Ball being played in this final is the same Ball used in the El-Classico friendly between Spanish giants FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF on July 23, 2022, in Las Vegas, USA.
The ball bears the autographs of Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior and Assistant Coach Davide Ancelotti, among others.
The sponsor and MLS referee Baboucarr was one of the officials who officiated that big club football encounter last year in LA.
