Ebou Adams played his 8th league game of the season when he replaced Sio in the 89th minute. In four out of the eight matches that Adam’s featured, he came on to solidify the defense. Blue Birds edged Millwall 1-0 courtesy of Gouta’s goal.
France
Metz were handed their third home defeat courtesy of Douaron’s 75th-minute strike. Brest’s victory is a back-to-back defeat for Metz after their four game unbeaten run ended against Lille. Ablie Jallow lasted 81 minutes before being replaced by Joel Asoro.
Belgium
Alieu Fadera played full throttle in Genk 3-1 win against Eupen which saw them climb to sixth position on the table. Alieu’s effort was blocked before heading into the break.
Austria
Ebrima Darboe played 70 minutes for the second consecutive time for Lask. The loanee from Roma was instrumental in Lask’s 3-1 away win over SC Austria Lustenau.
Saudi Arabia
Musa Barrow broke his recent goal drought to register his fourth league goal in Al Taawoun 4-1 win against Al Fayha. The former Atalanta star was on a run of six games before scoring in the 62nd minute with a low shot after being put through on a counter. Al Taawoun is currently sitting fourth with 31 points and now their focus will be shifted to the King’s Cup against Al Hilal.
Morocco
JS Soualem edged Union Touarga 1-0. Youssef Sakhi struck in the 61st minute on Saturday’s Botola round 11game. Pa Modou Sohna who featured in JSS’s last four matches lasted 79 minutes.
In Morocco’s second division, Momodou Bojang salvaged a point for Kawkab Marrakech as he registered his second goal of the season. Bojang came off the bench and scored the crucial winner in the 93rd minute sending Kawkab to the summit of the league.
CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Both Lamin Jallow and Kebba Sowe registered a goalless draw following their match-day two loss. The Gambian duo were introduced in the second half with Lamin Jallow playing in the last 26 minutes against AL Ahly and went on to win 100% ground duels and completed 50% accurate passes.
Kebba Sowe came on in the 63rd minute when he replaced Rodrigo in Esperance de Tunis’s 0-0 draw against Angolan side Petro de Luanda.
Elsewhere Kajally Drammeh was introduced in the 90th minute as the Egyptians lost in Algeria to USM Alger.
