Adams, Sidibeh, Wally, and Jawo on target as Marr returns to action

Ebou Adams, Wally Fofana, and Adama Sidibeh all scored their first goal for their teams as Lamin Jawo sealed the win for FK Mladá Boleslav against his former side Zlin. The weekend saw Sulayman Marreh make his first comeo appearance since May 29, 2023.

England

Adams, has become a fan favourite since he scored his first goal at Pride Park on Friday afternoon, he scored a cracker in the 41st minute against Blackpool. The win saw the Rams maintained their second-place with 75 points. Adams performance saw him named in the English League One Team of the Week.

Alasana Jatta started on the bench in Notts County away match against Swindon Town. Upon his introduction, Jatta went on to score the consolation goal to bring his tally to four goals in four matches.

Ibou Touray capped off a brilliant performance for Stockport County, who were winners over Forest Green Rovers on Friday. Ibby assisted twice as Stockport tops the English League 2 table with 74 points.

Saidou Khan was ruled out with a hip injury for the rest of the season for Swindon Town. Jacob Mendy missed the Wrexham match against Mansfield Town due to a hamstring injury.

Scotland

Adama Sidibeh got his first goal for St. Johnstone in their 2-1 defeat to Dundee FC in the Scottish Premiership. Sidibeh was making his fifth start, and his over-kick goal levelled the tie before Amadou Bakayoko sealed the winner for the visitors in the 80th minute.

France

Ablie Jallow made his second appearance, bringing his total appearances in Ligue One to 14 this season. Jallow was introduced in the 71st minute of the Metz 5-2 defeat against Monaco. Jallow was involved in both Papa Amadou Diallo and Ibou Sane goals.

Czech Republic

Lamin Jawo, who surpassed 100 appearances in the Czech Liga, scored the winner for Mladá Boleslav in their 3-2 win over FC Zlin. This is his fifth goal of the season in 22 appearances.

 

Serbia

Gambian midfielder Sulayman Marreh was handed his debut in Serbia as FK Železničar Pančevo drew a 1-1 draw with IMT Fudbal Klub in the Serbian Superliga on Friday. This was the former K.A.A. Gent midfielder’s first appearance since May 2023.

Lativa

Wally Fofana was on target for BFC Daugavpils in Lativa in their 3-1 win over Tukums. The former Gambia U20 winger has featured in all three league matches.

CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Simba SC were handed a 1-0 home defeat in the CAF Champions League quarterfinal on Friday. Pa Omar Jobe was introduced in the 79th minute, but Simba failed to find the back of the net.

Esperance de Tunis were held to a barren draw against visitor’s ASEC Mimosas. Kebba Sowe was introduced in the 82nd minute as he was making his fifth appearance in the competition.
