AN ENEMY WITHIN

A historian man in the museum,
Well known for his handwork and never giving up to remind the African children that they are not what others think of them.
He speaks the language of one Africa.
“It should be our badge, our uniform.
It’s something that supposes to be regimental through our chest,
We breathe it without spanning ourselves,
It’s what connected us with other countries,
Rich in mineral resources.
Yet, the world views us as no shade.
Test, We get to bake the cake without any gain,
They depend on us, while we look ridiculous and hungry “
“Our feathers would have climbed the many green trees if the African child knows its uses. We are left behind due to our poor minds in leadership. We are scared of changing the system because the choices that are left for our people are very slippery”.
The Museum was full of guesses coming from other nations. The new regime changes are beginning to boom through the ears of our media. Hopes were elevated. Reform is being casketed to be the mouthpiece of our people. A country whose smile is so big like a sea, that flows to the slam of the ocean. The King ordered the committee of inquiry to review his father’s footprints. Scars that would take years to heal. The health sector was a hell, frozen by the mafias who were given access to built pharmacies. Selling expensive expired drugs that would continue to kill the poor.
The father’s imprisonment runs through the headlines as karim stood on the television with the media to give details of the poisoning issues of his wife to be.
“This is not a hand of my father, karim voice redeems, it’s my half brother. But wish my messages could reach him that we are not enemies. Our experience in the past could have united us, instead, we have been hijacked by our friends that pretend to be real brothers. This is not a change of mind but policy, to never trust again, to never allow our people to be ruled by the half-baked brains, and to be vigilant in our community”.
“We will not only build this country but expand it to be internationally recognized, for our people won’t eat again, what their hands didn’t grow. Our fishes would see the lens of freedom to be controlled by our youths and to only fish when it’s allowed with seasonal times. It can only happen if we are ready to believe”
Karm closes his speech with a very emotional message that doesn’t threaten the minds but farting patriotism in the hearts. “That our negative histories shouldn’t dictate us to become enemies.
I know the pride of our country, through our lips that we will continue to kiss”.
A few minutes later, he was alerted that he has to attend an important meeting. In which dignitaries are waiting for him. A peace conference about truth and reconciliation. A young boy was given to start the opening remarks with a spicy poem.
“Rise to your flag,
Make sure, it never got lapse.
Our situations, our crisis,
Will ever be our highlights.
Too dark to sit and to look at it get deep,
It won’t be there thrown into the bin,
Pouring blocks in our homes,
In other to get us to soak.
Those days have passed,
When our eyes were closed.
It’s a must built with our gums,
Or we chew you like chewing gum.
Let’s treat each other like neighbors,
That will wear the same clothes,
Our shoes that we polish,
To expose any fake leader.
Your work shown to our eyes,
Or your words will be shredded
Raise in these difficult hills,
Nothing can drill us real.
Our youths have migrated,
But their souls haven’t left home,
So we are screening our government”.
The boy muted for some seconds as the mood of the gathering environmentally sense some changes. Follow by thousand of hands clapping for him as he steps down from the high table.
Within that range of times, one of the security whispers in the king ears that his wife is in a critical situation and that there is no way, he must by pass the meeting.
