The permanent representative and ambassador of the Republic of The Gambia to the Swiss Confederation and the Permanent Mission of The Gambia to the United Nations Office, World Trade Organisation, and other International Organisations in Geneva, Professor Muhammadu M.O. Kah, has been elected by the United Nations Human Rights Council as a vice-president of the Council until 31 December 2022.
Professor Muhammadou Kah, the former vice-chancellor of the University of The Gambia election was confirmed at a meeting in Brussels.
